Toy Story 3 Breaks Pixar Record and Wins The Weekend Box Office

The final film in the Toy Story franchise set an opening weekend record for Pixar Animaton Studios. Toy Story 3 earned a whopping $109 million in estimated U.S. ticket sales, topping the previous Pixar record held by 2004′s The Incredibles with $70.4 million. Toy Story 3 brought in $41 million on Friday alone, the biggest first day for an animated film.
